Jack Update

Jack went to the docs this morning for his 2-week check up. He weighed in at 9.11 lbs.
Now, here's some important background: he weighed 8.8 lbs when he was born but most kids lose 5-10% of their body weight after birth. Docs say a babe is doing well if they regain their body weight by their 2-week appointment.... And that, on average, kids gain between 3/4 to 1 oz per day.
Um. Yeah. Jack's gained about a pound in the last week and already weighs more than a pound more than his birth weight! Way to go, tough guy.

Last Sunday we got together with the grandmas and the Gilmores. It was at this dinner that Claire asked the deep question, "Can't we all just be cousins?"

JACKSON IS HERE!

Jackson arrived this morning @ 6:51 MST. 8lb 8 oz 22 inches long and a nice cone head. We arrived at the hospital at around 10:00 Wed night with contractions averaging between 3 and 5 min apart. Mom did awsome the whole time and was in good spirits the whole...(well most) of the labor. Jackson is feeding and sleeping well, and we were able to get about an hr or 2 of sleep today, all three of us are exausted. Pics to be posted soon

The Baby Quilt is Finished!

Thanks to Dana and her mom Hollie, we have the cutest baby quilt for Sasquatch. I helped Dana finish it on Thursday.







And here's me on 7/7/07. It doesn't look like I'm going to have this little dude today, but who knows.... Tomorrow is the big "due date."

The Lindsey's Visit

The Lindseys came for a visit in late June. It was SO great to see them. Who knows, maybe they're another CO convert? ;-)



Sasquatch wasn't quite ready to meet his friends Sophie and Isabelle, so we had a modified play date.

Sebastian's Baptism

Our friends Jen and Pedro have asked Ed and I to be godparents to their son Sebastian along with our friends Jon and Liz. The ceremony was on Saturday. It was a beautiful day and we felt very honored to be involved.
