Baby's First Mohawk

My mama gave me a mohawk in the bath the other night.

I love it!

And then I wanted to have some mohawk naked time.

See my Grecian phsique? I call it the "Statue of Jackalope."

I love my green monster

I can now sit and stand up on my own in my crib. It makes going to sleep much harder.

The other day, my mom came in to check on me and found me like this....

Cooking in My Sunhat

I like to hang with mom in the kitchen.

I also love to stick my tongue out to feel my new teeth (2 now!).

Ahhhhh.... I love my sunhat.

Biker Baby

Last weekend I got to take my first ride in Sebastian's Burley trailer. He wasn't so sure about sharing with me.

But I convinced him we'd have a good time.

Thanks for the ride, Jen. I could feel the wind rushing through my hair (yeah right).

My New Trick

Yeah right, like I'm really going to sleep, mom!

My First Tooth!

I finally got my first tooth, which made me happy.

Oh my gosh, you mean I have a ton MORE of these to go??

Tooth close up. It's on the left and just coming up (I swear). Click on the image for the bigger version.

My Saturday with Dad

On the Saturday we got back from our mountain vacation, mom went to the Denver County Democratic Convention as a delegate from our neighborhood precinct. It was a very cool event and she got to cast her vote for the next presidential nominee. But no, it doesn't mean that she gets to go to the National Convention -- you had to get voted on to the State Convention and then voted on to the National and since everyone and their mother wanted to do that, we didn't even stay for the voting process. But it was very cool.

While mom was gone, I hung out with dad, who still has his vacationer's mustache going on.

We went to the park with our neighbors Jen, Pedro, Sebastian, and Sebastian's uncle Jake.

Then I hung out on the front lawn contemplating 1) how cool I am; and 2) how much I love the sunny days of Denver.

The Moutain Vacationers

Don't we look vacationed?

One bonus of the mountain house was the makeshift ski slope the guys rode next to the house. This is Jon cutting some turns about 10 feet from the kitchen window. It was crazy to be doing dishes and see the guys fly by right outside.

Mountain Fun

A Jackalope with two freaky looking stuffed Jackalopes.
Did I mention the mountain house had some WEIRD decorations?

Ben taught me lots of things during our weeklong hang session.

Like how to read! Which, apparently, gives me the wrinkley head.

More About the Breck Vaca

I went on a snowshoe with Dad, Jon B, Ben, Jen Duffley, and Keelie, our mascot.

They've gotten a ton of snow in the mountains this year, as you can tell by the sign behind us.

Later that night I was pooped after all that hiking. Then I ate so much I had to unbutton my pants!

My First Mountain Vacation

My folks took their first real vacation in 5 years this March. We stayed up in Breckenridge for a week with our friends the Duffleys and the Bravmans. The house we rented was amazing. You can see the ski slopes of Breck in the distance.

Good times.

At night you could see the snow cats grooming the ski trails of Breck and the lights from the town center below.

I spent most of my time hanging out. Dee-OG and I had a great time together.

She's a true kindered spirit.

On the Move

It's official. I can really crawl now. I'm always on the move these days.

Going....

Going....

Gone.
