Mike O'Brien!

Mike O' was in town for work and he stopped by for a visit. Mom and dad figured out that we hadn't seen him in about 8 years! He looked great and we had a blast.

And I liked taking his hat, too.

Ah, look at the pretty flowers...

They're good for eating, right?

Here I go... Off to find more dirt/rocks/flowers/bird poop to try and put in my mouth.

Jack and Ella

Cousins Jack and Ella got to hang out on our trip, too. They're only 5 weeks apart so they had a lot to talk about.

"See how good I'm crawling?" "No, see how good I'm crawling?"

But it was hard to get their picture because they were on the move!

Every once and awhile they would take a second to show how much they appreciate each other.

And then get right back to playing.

Gimme that block, cous'.

Give me that push toy!

You talkin' to us?

Walkin! Way to go, Ella!

Grandpa Ed and the cousins. Good times.

Time with Grandma Gwen

On our trip for Nana's birthday, we got to see all our family back East. Jack loved his time with his grandmas. Peekaboo is always a fun game.

Jack and Nana

Jack got to see his great grandmother Helen Palmer this May for her 90th birthday. It was great to see them together.

Bee Swarm

I got a call from a neighbor the other day telling me not to go out the front door because there was a large bee swarm in front of my neighbor's house. It was about 2 stories high and the entire width of their house.

And so loud I could hear it from inside the house once I opened the front door. It was super crazy. About 30 minutes later they just went away...

Yay for the Green Squirrel

Jack can't walk on his own yet, but he can push the "green squirrel" for about a city block.

This is him walking down the alley.

Still walking...

But being so cool gets tiring, so he's glad he can put his feet up and have dad push for the trip home.

Scrunch Nose

Jack is always working on the perfect facial expression... And even though this pic is out of focus, you can get the idea... His new look is what we call "Scrunch Nose." It is often accompanied by a funny laughing/hissing sound.

And he's been giving us lots of smiles and laughs...

A sly look... Is he thinking about how to get to that toilet he loves to play with? Or is he thinking about how amazing it is that he loves zucchini so much? He sure didn't get that from his dad!
