Struttin' My Stuff: The Zombie Walk

I'm officially walking now, but it's a bit of a zombie walk while I get used to it.

Oh, so scary...

Oh, what's over here?

Now I'm going this way... wow, this walking stuff is cool.

Look, Dad, I'm ready to climb the wall!

Hey everybody. The park is a blast.

And man, do I love the swing!!

I'm One Year Old!

Me last year.

Me at one.

My mom dedicates the song "Praise You" by Fatboy Slim to me for my birthday.
The lyrics go:

We've come a long, long way together,
Through the hard times and the good,
I have to celebrate you baby,
I have to praise you like I should.....
I have to praise you.

And that's it. That's the whole song. Mom likes simplicity.

Happy birthday, kiddo.

Birthday Eats

I had some yummy food on my b-day.

First, some watermelon. My fav.

Oh, but look at my pretty cake... can that be for me?

No, I got a cupcake instead.

Hm, what is this thing?

Let's try it and see!

Mmmm, the icing is GREAT.

I then proceeded to throw the cake part on the ground! ha!

More Birthday Fun

Whoooooo, playing with Kate was fun.

I also got to open more gifts. I got a super cute hat from Peru and this cool fire truck.

Oh wait. It makes a scary noise. Get me outta here!

I like this toy... ah, how relaxing.

Some Fun Things I did on My Birthday

I opened some fun presents.

And figured out how to work them. Uh!

Then we tried the pool again.

Ben tried to show me it was a fun thing.

But I didn't like it.

Get me outta here.

My First Camping Trip

Crawling in the dirt was fun.

We went with some of my pals: Miles and Maya.

And camped right by a river/stream that's rushing because we had so much snow in the mountains this year.

But this guy was brave enough to cross it on his mountain bike.. I was fascinated by him.

More Camping

The Taylors also came along. Here's Liesa & Kate looking happy. Kate is a camping veteran. This was her second trip.

Wow, Joe, you sure have your hands full with Maya, Miles, and Jack!

Hiking is hard work! I'm sound asleep with dadd-o.

I woke up eventually and enjoyed the sights.

Dan and Maya loved the hike!
