Slanket Time

In this house, we are huge fans of the Slanket -- the ORIGINAL blanket with sleeves. NOT the other piece of poop the Snuggie. Jack adores his Slanket and carries it around with him everywhere.

And it's great for eating leftover lasagna noodles with dad.

Watch out for that shark!

I just realized I never posted Halloween pics, which is a real lapse because I have to admit they're so stinking cute. Jack was a shark for Halloween and Grammy made his costume from a grey hoodie I got at BabyGap. It's great though because he still wears it on a regular basis.

And he actually gets honked at while we're walking down the street.

Jack loves to show off his big back fin. And he says, "You'd better be careful because I'm going to eat you up with my big teeth!"

Bath Time Funny Faces

Sam is getting more fun every day. He's waving, shaking his head no, and making clear sounds for "kitty cat" and "dada" -- his favorite person. He's eating just about everything and very often eats more at a meal than his older brother. And he's a happy kiddo when he's not teething.

And he's 9 months old already, which blows my mind. He weighs in at 19 lbs. But he's only 30th percentile for height and weight, so he mainly feels round and cuddly.

He's still not crawling, though, so he just sits and hangs out. In many many ways, having only 1 mobile kid still is pretty great!!
